Well the chest xray was normal and looked much better than the one he had two weeks ago.  The swabs for RSV and the flu all came back negative.  The pedi is going to switch his antibiotic from the augmentin to zithromax. 

I am glad it is nothing serious.  I guess this is a nasty chest cold that is hanging on for dear life...........how long do these things take?!

    Oh hun. Dont know how long it will last but my son had croup and he ended up in the hospital. I was terrified but everything came out ok. Just be patient and everything will be fine.

    Awww Poor baby!!!  DD's can hang on and last a few weeks.  They are rough.  She's had a cough for about a week now.  So we started up with the nebby and it's been helping.
