Short Cervix ??

My doctor has been checking my cervix throughout my entire pregnancy because I had the LEEP done years ago and it shortened with my son and he came at 33 weeks.

I have recently started to get check 2x's a week and last week and this week they said my cervix is soft but not dilated. Anyone else go through this and still carry to at least 36-37 weeks? Every time I get checked I am a nervous wreck. I want so badly to carry this baby until at least 37 weeks.
