she hates the bottle and screams and cries when i try to give it to her. though i have been trying for a week now, she will only take at most 2oz of BM from the bottle and that is after a lot of trying and tears from her and putting her in different positions. i have tried it morning, noon, and night. before she is super hungry and while she is hungry. daddy giving it to her and me giving it to her (she does better when i give it). i have done it with freshly pumped milk and heated up. here are the bottles we have tried so far: avent, playtex vented, adiri, and first years breastflow.
i know i should feel honored that she only wants me/my boobs, but if i should need to go somewhere without her sometime. i want to know that she can take a bottle. any suggestions?
TIA
Re: how to get LO to take a bottle after EBF?
As far as trying different positions goes have you tried giving her the bottle while not holding her? For example sitting in the car seat or bouncy seat. Oddly enough my DS seems to take the bottle best when he is not being held.
MY DS was taking the bottle fine until about a week ago. So we have been trying different things. He seemed to like the car seat. The other night he took it best while lying flat on his back on the changing table. go figure.

DD would not take the Breastflow bottle. Come to find out it's really difficult for them to get the milk out of that bottle. Or at least that's what an LC we asked said. The nipple on that bottle is really hard too.
DD now takes the playtex bottle with the latex nipple. It's the only one she'll take. At first she would only take it with the nipple warmed and while she was in her bouncy seat. She will also only take it from DH she won't take it from me.
Our DD prefers her milk straight from the nap!! She also refuses the paci. I would recommend giving it to her every other day so as not to force the issue of the bottle. That's what worked for our LO.
