s/o Grey's: how do you have time for tv?

I am up at 5am, getting the boys fed & dressed, then getting myself ready and out the door by 7. I get home at 6:30, bath time and last bottle starts at 7. I go to bed at 9 these days and still need to make dinner and get things ready for the next day before then.

How do you do it? Even when I was home all day with them I could rarely watch more than an hour. My Tivo is piling up bigtime.

Nap time is my TV time, also I dedicate at least an hour after bedtime for me.

I'm an idiot that stays up until 11 so I can watch my shows. Embarrassed

I still have to watch some of them on the weekends on DVR.

well you have twins. im sure thats a lot harder. I tivo everything and watch it the next day during nap times.

Having only one is probably the big difference! (plus being home during the day) DD takes an hour every time she nurses and she eats at least 8 times a day. That right there is 8 hours of me sitting in the glider either reading, surfing the Internet, or watching tv!

I usually watch during nap time and a little here and there when im feeding DS but my DVR usually fills up before I get a good chunk of time to watch but if I had two babies like you I cant imagine ever getting a second to watch tv.

I think it's easier now b/c he's still so young that all he really needs is to be held and cuddled and we can do that whilewatching tv at night. Or I'll be nursing him while watching, etc.

LOL me too... 11 quickly becomes 2 am .. I SAH so i dont worry about getting up to go to the office.. but the next day is definatly a pj day lol

My favorite shows are set to TIVO and I watch them while feeding DD, when she goes to bed, or when she is napping Saturday morning.

You can download it to a Sony PSP, too. And even to just your laptop, although that's harder to lug around. I highly recommend the iphone--it does everything.

I'm right there with you (I have the same schedule as you)! You have 2, though, which makes it harder. I usually watch TV after I put DS to bed (usually from about 8-9/10PM I watch TV). Otherwise I catch up on stuff on the weekends.

My LO gets his last bottle around 7pm and goes to bed by 7:30 or 8pm...so I watch tv during his feeding and once he's asleep (while I eat)

RJ goes to bed around 9. From then till midnight it's our dinner+TV+cuddles time. I never watch TV during the day.

I do this but I have to go to the office. DH works out of town Sunday-Thursday so I start watching shows after 9 when both girls are alseep and stay up awhile. I get up for work around 6:15 and get ready then get the girls up.
