I'm very cautiously excited! I feel pretty clueless at this point and am wondering if any of you ladies could recommend some books? Well besides what to expect while you are expecting, that's a given.
I found the two books mentioned above entertaining as well - I laughed out loud at both of them. DH read Belly Laughs and found it funny as well.
For something a bit more serious, I had "Your pregnancy week by week", which appealed to me because it was written by a doctor. They make an Over 35 version as well, but I didn't know about that until I bought the other one.
I have to second "Your Pregnancy Week by Week", both my DH and I loved reading it every week. I actually did not like The Girlfriend's Guide, but I guess that's just me.
Congratulations, hope you have a happy and healthy pregnancy!!!
Mother of a beautiful little boy 11/01/07!
Expecting #2 EDD 9/28/11
What a wonderful surprise!!!
I third "Your Pregnancy Week by Week." I bought the over 35 version as well, but it's not nearly as good. I also have "The Pregnancy Bible," which has some excellent information.
Re: Got a BFP yesterday!
This. Best book by far. Very funny. Close 2nd is Belly Laughs.
Agree on the books.
And congrats!
Congrats and welcome to the board!!
