What happens if a 4 month old gets chicken pox?

I just went to the doctor today and found out I have chicken pox (for the 2nd time!!). I stay home with my dd and nurse her as well and I'm thinking there is not a very good chance that she's going to make it out of this without getting them herself. The I asked my dr if i should be worried and he basically said there was nothing i could do about it and to just call her pedi if she started to break out. I am so worried Sad

nothin...she gets chicken pox - and you put mittens on her so she doesn't scratch herself & get scarred...my cousin had them at 4 months (we all got them at the same time) - she was totally fine & she had them REALLY bad.

Nurse nurse nurse!!! It will keep the antibodies up so hopefully she'll get a mild case. Hang out in bed together for a few days and nurse her as much as you can! It's the best thing you can do at this point!

I had them as a baby and it wasn't a big deal at all (says my mom)
