I know this should be easy, but my husband and I are having a disagreement about which day should be his last day to have sex before having his SA done. He is going to be going in on saturday morning. he last took care of business wednesday morning(sorry TMI). The directions said no more than 3 days, but at least 3 days without sex before....So do you think he would be ok to have his test done saturday or was wednesday morning too early/not early enough? Sorry for the confusing post! Thanks!

i think it will be fine. we had a 5 day window with ours. just make sure he doesn't rub one off tonight.
It's probably fine. If there's anything "wrong" with the results, your doc might ask for a repeat test anyway just to make sure.
For now, don't sweat it.

We did four SA's and actually got better numbers when he sustained for 4-5 days. Every guy is probably different.
I would go with what they recommend and then if the counts are low you can do a repeat and try and lengthen or shorten your time...
My husband acutally has his this morning and they are very serious about the timeline.. The nurse asked him several times to confirm that its been 48hrs since the last time, but no more than 5 days..
