DS has been eating like a pig the last 3 days or so. He is a peanut. 20 months and 25lbs/ 32 inches tall. Today he ate as much Annie's mac-n-cheese as I did. Plus pears and turkey. Last night he asked for seconds and thirds of his mac-n-cheese and green beans! This kid usually picks at his food, eating about half of what he is given.
Re: Is there a growth spurt around 18-24 months?
I hope so because a lot of the 18-24 month fall shirts I have for Ethan are huge on him. He's barely 23 pounds but 32-33 inches tall.
There are days when he eats a ton and then days where he barely eats. I know people say to look at the week in terms of eating since it tends to balance out. Oh and he's still getting his eye teeth (over 1.5 months now), so I'm sure that has affected his eating too.
Thats one of the strange things about it. He is working on his eye teeth and a molar. It hasn't slowed down his eating like the rest of his molars did. I just hope he grows a little because his 18 month pants are still inches too long.
