Adoption

tomorrow's Today Show

I just saw an ad for a story on tomorrow morning's Today Show, about an adoptive mother who relinquished the child after 18 months.

What a heartbreaking story all around.

ETA my follow-up post...  You all can ignore the link to the Today Show website since it's the same blog that was previously discussed a while back.

Anyway, Today is interviewing her tomorrow morning.

  • FYI this the The New York Times piece we've already discussed.

  • Oh, I must have missed it!  I only recently joined.  Sorry!!  You all can ignore the link to the Today Show website then....

  • I didn't see the previous post about it either so thanks for posting GulfCoaster!!!
    Lilypie First Birthday tickers
  • I watched it this morning,

There was more information in an article written previously than what the today showed. I was disappointed!

I am getting less and less impressed with the way the Today show does stories. I don't watch tv very often, so when I turned it on I was so frustrated with how they were running their stories. The lead lady, um Meraidith, must've cut off guests several times b/c they were out of time or she wanted to go onto the next question, and IMO they weren't rambling. If they would just do one LONGER (more than 5 minutes) to actually cover the issue I think we could learn more - get more out of it. They ran through all the stories so fast I was unimpressed.

TOTALLY.  i was very unimpressed with how they handled this story.  But i rarely actually watch Today; i just happened to be home in the morning before taking D to her 4 month appointment.

Ditto... I thought the show handled it really poorly -- there were hardly any details!
