Got pregnant on the mini-pill...

Anyone else? I am still BF DD and was taking my mini pill religiously. Over the last two weeks I have started to feel tired, nauseous, and my nose has definitely had a better sense of smells. I took a test yesterday and lo and behold BFP!

    oh and my period wasn't even regular yet, I have had it 2x for like 1-2 days months apart.....

    Congratulations!  Yours will be about as far apart as mine (we were trying - 17mo apart).  It is so wonderful, I wouldn't trade it for the world.  The last trimester will be tough (for me it was esp. because DS1 didn't walk until I was 35wks pg and he was 30lbs!!).  But it is so, so worth it!

    me too! i also got pregnant using the mini pill and i also took it religiously. mine two youngest were suposse to be 14 months apart but she was 2 months early so they are exactly 1 year apart.she was born on his birthday

    Me me me!!!  Didn't think that I was going to have 3 kids - guess the mini-pill had different plans.  I am recommending that NONE of my friends get it just because I've heard of so many women getting pg on it (and yes, I did take it every night at the same time).  Had I known this interesting fact, I would have made DH wear condoms. 

    Funny thing, I was about to go off it to get Mirena inserted and tha'ts how I found out I was pregnant!

     Guess I need to rethink going on the mini pill after this one is born unless I want 3 under 3.

    To answer the period question I got mine 2x since DD was born last november. I got 1st one about 6months pp and it was like 1 day long, 2nd one came beginning of August and was like 2 1/2days. It wasn't even regular yet.

    It is still sinking in for me! I don't know how we will prevent after next baby, guess DH will have to don a condom, he will be thrilled lol! 

     Thanks everyone! Nice to know the min-pill does not work for all lol :)
