No leak straw sippy

Does anyone have one?  I have tried two different kinds, the playtex insulator straw sippy and the nuby flip and sip with the two handles.  They both leak everywhere.  I am having a hard time getting milk into this boy since we stopped with the bottles at 1 yr.  He loves the straws, but I did not want to spend a bunch of money on cups that end up leaking everywhere.  TIA!

Re: No leak straw sippy

  • We have these, and they do not leak. However, some of the other Munchkin insulated ones we have do leak a bit from time to time.

We bought these cups at Kroger and Costco.

  • We have the Playtex Twist and Click ones. Is that what you have? I've got tons and those are the only ones I've found that don't leak.

  • I have this one and the milk comes up through the straw when it is sitting on the counter or if it gets knocked over.  Maybe I am putting it together wrong?

We have the same ones and like them a lot.

  • I have those munchkin ones and I like them a lot, too.  They will leak once in a while if we leave them with the straw out laying on their side, but if they're closed, they do not leak at all.

  • I have the type of Playtex straw cups where the straw is in two pieces and the valve is on the inside of the cup, under the lid. I bought them at Buy Buy baby and they are in a green and blue color.  The arrows need to be aligned in the dotted section and when screwed on this way, we have NO leaking whatsoever (and even if it is not alingned this way, I have not seen leaking).  None!  This is the only kind I will buy and I have serveral friends who went out and bought these on my recommendation and they love them too.  I'll see if I can find them online for you.

  • I believe this is the kind I have (I have it in blue and green).  If this is what you have too, then i would suggest making sure the the soft plastic valve part of the straw "penis part" is inserted into the "vagina" part nice and tight (sorry for that analogy) and that the lid arrows are aligned in the dotted line section.  They work perfectly for me.  I hope this helped!
