Breastfeeding and Thrush

So my sister's baby has thrush...again. We just got word from our cousin a nurse practitioner or something, that if he doesn't finish a bottle, you should throw away the extra and use a new one. Anyway, if you are supposed to sterlize the nipples and what not, what do you do about the breast?

Wipe with vinegar and water after each feeding.  If possible, its great to expose the nipples to sunlight, through a window, daily.

    Oh boy!.....thrush...UGH!

Mix 1TBSP white vinegar to 1 cup H2O and wash nips after each feed (make new batch each night)

Change nursing pads every feed, wash everything boobs come into contact with every day in warm water.

Boil bottles/nips/pump parts for 20 min with vinegar each day.

Use the Nystatin 2X a day and get a tube of Monistat to use on the effected area + 1" extra.

    Do all this for 2+weeks

Or..... go and get some Gentian Violet from Walgreens and be done in like 4 days.
