What's the weirdest name you've ever heard? Real-life ones are funniest, but even if you can't be sure it's real, let's hear it.

The funniest one I've got is that my DH worked with someone who he swears named her daughter "Le-a", pronounced "Ledasha".

Also my dad went to school with a girl named "Starkista", like the tuna.

Abcde. Prounounced ab-SUH-dee. And it was a real name, it was the name of a kid in the waiting room when I took DS for a pediatrician's appointment. The receptionist called out the name, and another mom asked Abcde's mom how she spelled her daughter's name.

i find these names soooo hard to believe. I have never heard any names THAT crazy and I've been around a lot of people, from different areas, and I work at a university were a see new names almost daily. It is just so weird that almost every urban legend or crazy name email is somehow connected to all of these people on the nest.

Anywhoo, I would say the weirdest spelling i have ever seen has been Jew-lia.

Urban Legand names....how come every time weird names comes up in conversations I have with people, OrangeJello and LemonJello (pronounced Or-AN-jelo and Le-MON-jelo) are brought up and people claim that they know them or knows someone who knows them.

I went to high school with a Trampus...didn't think it was weird at the time (but he was HOT, so it didn't matter)...but I wouldn't name my kid that.

I'm a teacher and have come across ridiculous names, but the most shocking was As*hole pronounced (As-shol-ee).

Some other classics have been the Shore family with sisters: Wendy, Rocki and Stormie.

More "normal" but still weird for my taste:

This whole freedom of choice in naming can be taken a bit too far...

My mom's name is Lovada..(Lo vaa dh)! It's not really that weird to me but she hates it and goes by her middle name Sue. My DH loves the name Lovada and wants to name a DD that...but my mom would kill him!!
