Hating the car seat again? what gives?

The last couple of weeks Meredith will scream and have a major meltdown anytime she's in the car. She's only soothed if I'm in the back with her playing games with her. Obviously that's not an option if I'm the one driving. 

She's still rfing (17lbs) and I hope to keep her that way until she's 40.

Any helpful hints to help her not to meltdown?  

So far toys don't work, different types of music haven't helped, windows down haven't helped, light on (at night and only over her) didn't help. I have tried a bunch more stuff, but you get the idea.

    Do you have a baby mirror?  I have a secret weapon.  Whenever DD starts acting up, I pull out a pinwheel for her to play with.

    We have the same issue, so unfortunately no suggestions. I just had to say, I initially read this as "40 years old" and LOLed. :)
