PTL or am I just over-reacting?

So up until today, I've felt great. I've never felt sick or tired, etc...very fortunate I know! Today that all seemed to change. All day long it has felt as though LO could drop out of my butt. I also feel gross nausea, I'm all crampy, and my back hurts. Should I be worried about PTL? Opinions please!

  • i am no help but the "drop out of my butt" part of your post made me chuckle.

  • Sorry, no clue/help but ditto to the "drop out of my butt" chuckle....
  • I know cramping and dull lower back ache are on my list of signs from my dr to at least call, especially before I hit 37 weeks.

  • Something changed. I'm sorry. Call the nurses at L and D if you feel comfortable doing so. I met those ladies at my hospital and I now feel really comfortable calling them with questions. If that doesn't work for you, call you doctor tomorrow.
If any of the pain comes and goes (like regular timed pain) get your butt to L and D now.

  • If they are regular and timeable then yes. I started with my PTL problems at 29 weeks. I have been having regular contractions that feel like severe menstral cramping, contractions in lower back and even felt in upper thighs. My tummy tightens like a rock. If theyre not timeable and intense I wouldnt worry about it. The pressure may be because you have already dropped. I feel like that too, its because baby is low. Call your dr if you are concerned but It doesnt sound like it unless they are timeable for one hour
