when did yours start to show up? anyone not get any one 1st time around, but did on 2nd, or 3rd, etc? any 2nd+ timers have theirs go away?where did you get them?

i don't have them yet, and i know my mom didn't on her first but did on her 2nd. i know they say that's usually a good indicator-anyone find that to be true? that they got them the same way their mother did?

My friend gained less with her second kid and got stretch marks with him. ?GL! ?I think they are on her sides.

this is my first pregnancy and i think i noticed my first one on my butt at about 26 weeks. that one has multiplied by about 20 on each cheek to date.

First pregnancy I didn't get them until 37 weeks. Then they spread all over my lower abdomen/hips.

This pregnancy, I'm pretty sure I have new ones already, but mostly it looks like the old ones are darker and have gotten longer.

As far as my mom, she had 3 kids and did not get one single stretch mark! I know it's hereditary though, and I do take after my dad's side of the family more. I know my cousin got stretch marks (dad's side) so I'm guessing that's where they're from

This is funny...I had a co-worker that said to put olive oil on my tummy when I got out of the shower so I wouldn't get stretch marks (when I was pregnant with my now almost 10 year old) and don't you know, I didn't get one stretch mark on my tummy. But I got one huge one on my left side, and one huge one on my right side(literally on the sides of my body)!

With my daughter, I did get a few below my belly button but they dissapeared about a year after she was born.

I haven't seen any with this pregnancy...let's hope it stays that way!

My mother doesn't have any after three kids. I started to get them at 30 weeks on my lower abdomen and they have spread to my hips but not all over. They have stayed below my belly button for some reason. I have gotten some on my boobs too. My sister got them in high school after gaining and loosing weight. There seems to be no rhyme or reason to them.

First off, stretch marks never go away. They just fade to a white or silver color and become harder to see.

In my 1st pg I think they showed up around 27-29wk but I don't recall. This pg, they just started showing up about a week ago. Maybe 4 new ones at the moment and seemingly small (for now). We'll see what happens with them and if they decide to invite friends to my body.

my mom didnt have them with either of her 2 pregnancies, i dont have any yet...well, a few on the underside of my boobs, but i already had light stretch marks from puberty there.

My mom had three kids and said she didn't get her stretch marks til her third pregnancy.

This is my first and I did not get any until I was about 34 weeks

. They aren't really bad and I still put cocoa butter on them, but mainly to help with the itchy tummy.

I didn't get any with either of my pregnancies. Gained a ton of weight with both too.

I got them with my 1st pregnancy because I gained so much weight and my mom got stretch marks, its hereditary usually. My 2nd pregnancy my stomach was twice the size but I didn't get anymore, this time I don't have any new ones either, my SIL got huge in the tummy but no stretch marks, my MIL never got them either.

My mom doesn't have any. I was hoping the coast was clear for me too, but NOPE. Started seeing a few only on my left lower belly around 38-39 weeks. I hope the baby comes out soon, I don't want to get more stretches!
