question for those with an Etsy business

This is a bit of a personal question, but how do you account for your income?  Did you set up a  tax id for your etsy business, include it as part of your personal income, something else?  I have a friend who is interested in selling some of her art through Etsy and is curious about this.

    not sure... I know that you dont have to claim it unless it is $600/ yr or more, which I didnt make last year, so this will be my first year claiming it.
