I feel hungover

but without the fun of going out the night before.  I'm not throwing up but just feel ick.  The only thing I want to eat is bagels and pasta.  Ginger Ale helps too but I'm having a hard time working and keeping up.  Any helpful tips?

Re: I feel hungover

  • All I could eat the first few months (yes, months) was dry stuff like crackers, pasta, and toast. Hang in there!

  • eat all day long

suck on lemon drops or some sour candy

keep crackers by your bed to eat them before you even get out of bed

    keep hydrated

eat anything that sounds remotely good, even if it's bad for you

I felt like *** for way too long with both pregnancies, but the complete and utter exhaustion of the first few weeks usually only lasts a little bit.   Then you can be more awake.  But at first I would come home from work and take a 2 hour nap, get up, eat dinner, sit on the couhc and then go back to bed.

  • That's exactly how I felt the first 11 or 12 weeks.  I just tried to eat all day long and I was the same way as you, the only things that sounded good were bagels, pasta, bread etc.  "Preggie Pops" work ok while you're sucking on them too.  GL and just know it will pass eventually :)
  • I totally feel your pain! I keep telling DH I feel hungover, but didn't get to have all the fun the night before. Stick out tongue

Mine comes in waves, but is particularly bad in the morning. I'm still trying to figure out what helps.
