What is he doing at night? Moving around the crib???

So I put LO down at night on his back in the middle of his crib. ?When I go in to get him in the morning---he is all the way against the railing on his back....Any thoughts on what he is doing? ?He is only a month old.

  • I put my DS on his back to sleep and when I get him in the morning he has tuned sideways with his head against the railing.  I never figure out how he gets that way but he just laughs about it.

  • Mine does this too.  He is 5 months old and loves to swing his legs around and scoot.  Once I found him sideways in the crib.  Is he swaddled?  I imagine not if he is moving.  DS uses a sleepsack so his legs have room to kick.
  • If LO isn't swaddled, they can push down on the bed with their feet and it can cause them to turn or move.

  • DD is swaddled and she still gets around! She starts out in the center laying the length of the crib and then she always pivtos to a corner, but lays the width of the crib. We have a video monitor...so I've seen how she does it...she lifts her legs up in the air and pumps them up and down and that's how she moves. DH and I crack up!

  • DS has done tis since he was about a week old.  He wiggles a lot, usually trying to get out of his swaddle.  He'll start at the top and end up at the bottom, lol
  • Hehehe, DS is barely two weeks old and when I put him in his PNP for naps and things he wakes up turned around with his head facing some completely random direction, lol.  What a little wiggle-worm!
