I haven't but our daycare lady makes it for the kids for lunch all the time. She just makes sure they are hearty... veggies, pasta shells, chicken, etc.

I have, with a half sandwich and some cheese or fruit. Sometimes he likes crackers in it too.

Yes, we strain most of the broth/liquid off of it though, because for some reason he's boycotting the spoon right now.

I am making soup and sandwiches for dinner. Usually I feed her the soup, but tonight I am going to let her try herself. Should be messy!

she still won't let me spoon feed her. i give her soup or stew with the broth drained off and she eats it with a fork and her fingers.

Yes, DD loves tomato soup and grilled cheese. And she also likes chicken noodle soup which I drain off most of the broth.
