Owen was breathing really fast and had a fever of 102.3 this morning, so I took him to the dr this morning. ?They did a pulse-ox and that was good, so they decided to do 2 nasal swabs for flu and RSV, and take some blood from his foot. ?Swabs were negative, blood came back with really high white blood count - normal is under 15k, his was over 24k. ?Sent us for a chest x-ray to make sure it wasn't pneumonia, that came back negative. ?Decided to catheter him to collect urine, take more blood and give a shot of antibiotics to be safe. ?They are checking for urine infection and blood infection, we have to go back tomorrow for another blood draw. ?Poor little guy is passed out on me and covered in band aids
