I was wondering if anyone saw a chiropractor regularly during their pregnancy? The one I go to is specifically trained to treat pregnant women, and I haven't asked my doc yet if it's ok, but I was wondering if it makes a difference now that i'm carrying twins? If you had treatments, would you recommend it?
Re: Chiropractor
I love my chiropractor. I went to him every two weeks before pg (I had lower back issues when I started seeing him) and am still seeing him now (and will continue to through the entire pregnancy and after). I feel SO MUCH better after I see him (just had an apt. this morning). Both my OB and MFM said it is fine to see him and that it is actually good for me.
GL!
I worked for a chiropractor for years while I was in college and LOVE being treated. I completely believe in its benefits as I've seen and experienced them myself!
I've chose, however, NOT to pursue chiropractic treatment during this pregnancy. I felt this way because I have lost a pregnancy before and if anything went wrong in this one I didn't want any "questions" lingering in my mind. Was it this...was it that...I never should have done this....and on and on. You get my drift.
I dont think it will hurt a thing and it might make you feel A LOT better
). I say go for it if it's something you want to do!
