Jealousy Jealousy

I'm never jealous of other people's babies even if they sleep through the night when mine doesn't or they never throw tantrums when mine always does.  However when it comes to pregnancy and labor, I'm always jealous.

My husband's cousin had her baby yesterday one month and one week early.  Her water broke at 2 am and her baby was born HEALTHY AND WONDERFUL by 10 am.  I'm so jealous!  I'm due right between Christmas and New Year and would love to have him/her before the craziness of the holidays, but I'm definitely not so lucky.  Last time I had to be induced finally and it did not go well and I was in labor for 17 hours (which I know isn't bad compared to others). 

Then my cousin had her baby 6 weeks ago and her belly is already completely flat and she's wearing her skinny jeans.  This makes me raging jealous.  I wasn't wearing my old jeans for like 6 months, and even then they were too tight to be comfortable.

    I still can't fit in my old jeans.  I also have a hard time looking at pictures of fresh babies, because I never got to see DS that way.  I get where you are coming from.

    I can relate to this.  My friend wore her freaking regular work/dress pants her ENTIRE pregnancy (she was carrying freakishly high) and so she was obviously in her normal clothes leaving the hospital.  I can't even imagine!

    I hear you on the second part. ?I have a friend who wore her non-maternity skinny jeans until a few weeks before she delivered. ?WTF? ?My skinny jeans were history right around the time the embryo implanted. ?No fair!

    Muah haha, this was me with my 40 week belly fitting nicely over my regular old jeans.  Be jealous, ladies, be jealous.  :D
