so we are officially on our way to a trained potty boy!

he has been showing so much interest in poop and pee lately ( I think because of some books we got him a few months ago)

I got him a seat that fits on our toilet and last night for the first time he peed on it.

Then an hour later, he did it again!

Then, he woke up this morning with a dry diaper,and the first thing he did was peed on the potty AGAIN!

 

Im really excited, I'm really hoping to have him out of diapers before he's 2.

    That's awesome!  We are just getting started, no pee or poop in the potty yet.  What books did you get?  DS is definitely interested in poop, and loves watching me dump his dirty diapers.  And this morning for the first time he told me he had pooped.

    hes' been reading ( or memorizing) " everyone poops" " wheres' the poop"  and " my potty"

    They just kind of show some poop in potties and explain that every animal poops and how.

    Great work! Sounds like he is definitely ready!
    That is also my plan-- Out of diapers by age 2.?
    We started training at 15 months when he started showing signs of readiness.?

    Ah, lucky you! Maybe I need to get my DS some of those books. We bought him a potty a few months ago because he was showing signs. He used it GREAT for a few weeks, peed every time and pooped every night after his bath. Then he just stopped. I ask him every day still if he wants to use his potty and he says no Sad
