Any other tips for drying up milk?
I haven't nursed since Thursday, and only nursed once daily for weeks. Yesterday I started taking Sudafed and putting cabbage leaves in my bra. Today my breasts are very full. Not too terribly painful, just sore. Any other tips for drying up milk?

That's about all I've heard of. I did the tight sports bra thing for awhile, but my OB told me not to do that and it can actually cause clogged ducts. So I guess there are different opinions on that. So I don't have any other suggestions for you, but I wish you luck and hope you dry up quickly! It took me forever!

Ibuprofen will help with soreness too.

I was tempted to order that tea (even though it sounds sooo nasty! sage & peppermint aren't my faves.) until I read it's not for use during pregnancy. I seriously doubt I'm pg, but we haven't been very consistant with birth control lately. So guess I better not take a chance. Thanks for the rec though!

take benadryl at night. the anti-cholinergic effects will help dry you up. definitely keep on the sudafed during the day!
