Not sure if you ladies saw this. Very sad.

A nestie from the Inland Empire Board passed away during childbirth.  Boards across the site are leaving posts with their T&P's.

    I was worried about one of our PG-ladies getting scared by this, too! I read the back-posts, and the issue that she had (amniotic fluid embolism) sounds like it is pretty rare. And I quote (from wiki), "The condition is so rare that most doctors will never encounter it in their professional careers."

    I know the chances of anything like this happening are pretty slim, but it's something that I'm sure we all thought about prior to delivering. Not necessarily this exact thing, but dying while delivering.  Maybe I'm just morbid though :)

    Yes, this is soooo sad. My good friend, Kim, was a friend of Jewelyn and it has hit her and all Jewelyn's nestie friends very hard.
