  If they started pitocin at 10am and she wasn't in the throes of labor, it could be quite some time, especially since this is her 1st.

  When i was induced with Carter (water broke and i failed to progress in labor)  I started pitocin around 10am.  Carter was not born until 2:47am the next day.

  She's probably just getting an epidural and settling in for a looong evening.

  Ditto Kerrin. It was 36 hours after I was induced until Audrey was born. I hope things are going well and will keep them in my thoughts.

  You're all probably right. I guess it worries me since her blood pressure was elevated that they would let her labor for a long time. I would think that would make your blood pressure go through the roof!
