Whos due or delivering close to Halloween?

Will you be trick or treating? This is DS' first real year for Halloween. Last year he could barely crawl and we were in Disney. This year we want to take him trick or treating and Im wondering if any of you are going to go even if you have the baby days before?! I mean I went on a short grocery trip after DS was born. I think I can make it a couple houses.......right?LOL

I am due on Oct. 27th, but I am hoping to have her a little before then. Either way, we will just hand out candy as usual.?

I am delivering on October 26th and should be out of the hospital on October 29th, so we are planning to go trick or treating. I have an 11 y/o and I really don't want him to miss out. If I can't go, I will just stay home with the baby and send DH.

I am due 2 weeks after, but Layla was 1 week early, so I don't know.. We're just going to play it by ear. ?She will definitely be going to a few houses in my brother's neighborhood.. so I will go along. If no baby, I will go trick-or-treating.. if baby is here, I'll probably stay at the house and let DH take her

I'm due on October 28th. I was wondering if I should buy halloween candy as we might be at the hospital. You never know. I'll be prepared but then I was also thinking about LO being here already and being annoyed that my doorbell is ringing every two minutes with trick or treaters.

What's everyone else doing?

And OP, if you feel okay I don't see why you couldn't go a few houses. If your LO is here, will you use a snugli or something and still go or will you only go if baby has not arrived yet?

we have already planned that I will stay home this year with DD2 and hand out candy I will be recovering from birth plus a blood transfusion so walking around the block prob wouldn't be a great idea. but DH will take DD1 trick or treating.

If all looks good on the amnio I will deliver the 26th also, I dont think Id bring LO with trick or treating. Its probably too cold and I dont want strangers breathing all over him. LOL He will stay at my house with my parents. We are very secluded so we dont get trick or treaters and will be taking DS to the neighborhood down the street. I just dont think a newborn 5 or 6 days old should be in the cold of Chicago trick or treating. Ya know

I agree. If mine is here already, he/she definitely won't be outside yet.

We won't be bringing the baby out, but if people want to come visit that's fine. I'm due the 29th, so providing she's here by then we just plan on handing out treats as usual and dressing her in a halloween onesie

If by some chance I'm in L&D on halloween, we'll bring the treats we bought in with us for hospital staff.

I am due the 25th...I'm expecting her to be here around the middle of October though. I've never made it to 40 weeks (I have two other children). I probably will not go trick or treating. I personally don't think I'm going to feel up to it, and I'm not taking her out in the cold. Their dad will most likely take them.

I'll be 38w1d. I think it's the perfect time to get in a lot of walking! Me and DH will be taking my little brothers and sisters trick-or-treating.

ds2 should have made his apperance about 2 weeks before. We are planning on going to the park were they have stuff for the kids to do. (its still hot here in AZ) We plan on taking ds1 and letting him have fun for an hour then head home. I will have ds2 with us in his frog suit but will prob have him in a sling.

My sister and bil don't have any kids and my kids are their only niece and nephew so we usually go to their house and take the kids trick-or-treating in their neighborhood. I am scheduled to have this baby on Oct 23rd so I think I will be okay by Halloween to go sit at their house and let them take my older two Trick-or-Treating!!

I'm due 10/27, but having a c/s on 10/23. I'll be home recovering and will keep the baby with me while DH takes DS trick or treating.

I am due 10/13. We are scheduled to have a newborn photo shoot on Halloween. If the weather is nice maybe we will take the baby for a walk afterward.

No way! My guy is due on the 28th, and if I have him on time, I plan to sit at home, RELAX, and turn the front lights off. I really don't want to have to deal with Halloween, and I definitely don't want to take him out around crowds when he'd be only a few days old.

I am actually due on October 31st. My DS will turn 2 on December 1, I really hope to take him out....secretly I am hoping that I am still pregnant for a day or two after!
