Mine was about 3 days pp an it scared the cr@p out of me because I was in labor over a day so it had been about 5 days since I'd had a BM, but turned out fine. You'll be fine-drinking lots of water helps, too!
About five days. Just keep taking the stool softeners twice a day. You'll get the urge. The important thing is not to strain -- just relax. This is going to sound odd -- but DH made fun of me bc I was so freaked out and I started laughing, and the laughing motion really helped, um, move things along.

LOL. I'll have to remember that because I'm so terrified of it. I know its coming because I'm gassy as all get out.

Either 2 or 3 days pp. I never took stool softeners or extra fiber and it wasn't any more painful than a pre-birth bm. From reading posts on here I was totally freaked!

You're gonna wish these days hadn't gone by so fast..."
wow, this makes me feel so much better. I took alot of laxatives a few days PP and it didnt do a thing, I also wasnt drinking as much as I did when I was pg. Milk of Magnesia did wonders though. Now I have a massive hemmoroid to show for it.
I think it was day 9 that it finally happened for me. I had stool softners and milk of magnesia but they just made feel gross.
I finally went out and bought some laxitives and was finally able to poop WITH the stool softners. With the laxitives alone it just made me have to go really but not be able to
Popping was hard...literally and figuratively, for about 3 weeks PP.
