Has anyone had this nap issue?

The last two days, D has gone down for his afternoon nap with no issues.  Yesterday he took a 6 ounce bottle before his nap, today he took almost 7 ounces in the half hour before he went down.

Both today and yesterday, he woke up after 45 minutes.  I let him fuss and hang out, but he started full-fledged crying so I went in, and he immediately perked up and was happy & giggly and would play around his room.  Then we'd go downstairs, and he'd turn monster - whiny, crying, rubbing his eyes.  Both days I ended up giving him 6 more ounces and then he would go back to sleep.

Has anyone had this?  Is this a growth spurt?  His nights haven't been all that different and he doesn't seem to be eating much more during the day, it's just that it seems like he's waking up half way through his afternoon nap because he's hungry.

    Haven't had it where DS goes back after milk, but today was a craptastic nap!!  Good luck figuring it out!!  Isn't it lovely how it changes constantly?!?
