Winter coat ?

I got Abigail a lightweight coat today. I got it in size 12-18 months. But do you think I should go exchange it for 18-24 months? She doesn't have a whole lot of bulky sweaters, plus she's small. But I'm wondering if I should give her enough room for layering. But, I don't want the 18-24 to swallow her up.

    Gavin had 12-18 mos last year and I just tried it on him this year and it still fits. It was big last year, but I am shocked that it still fits! He is way skinnier now, but also much taller so I expected the sleeves to be too short.

    If it fits pretty well now, with just a little extra room, I'd keep it.  I'm the queen of buying things too big when really they could have stayed in the smaller size and had it fit perfectly!  If you have to get a bigger size later, then at least they'll be on sale at that point in the season :)
