I'm a bit lost. I really thought you just use your ER date as O date. But the nurse that called said we would be due 5/1. I have it as 5/30 when I plug into the regular calculators. I think the wheel she was using was put at the wrong date. Can you tell me what you used? Thanks!
Re: IVFers How did you date your pregnancy?
Ha, same here! I gave up trying to explain it to the nurse after like the 4th visit! Finally OB listened when we delivered at 33 weeks!
Ha! I told them that I didn't know when my LMP was and that it didn't matter
I use ER as O date

I found this calculator handy early on, since it's specifically for IVF ER dates.

FET #1 = BFP on 5/2011
My RE calculated by my "LMP" which was set at 3/19 - 15 days before ER, which was 4/2.
If I use 4/2, my due date is 12/23.
If I use 3/19 as LMP it is 12/24.
For what it's worth, every u/s given us a due date of 12/24. Who knows - he'll be here when he gets here I guess!
Maybe they use 15 days prior ER since fertilization would ordinarily happen a day after O, whereas in the clinic it happens the same day? In other words, maybe using the ER date is less accurate?
