Does your kid ever call you by your first name?

Last night Luc was on the toilet and I heard him yell, "Momma!"  When I didn't respond he yelled, "Maggie!".  MH & I started laughing and thats when he yelled out, "Margaret!  I need your help!".

The kid is a nut.  But I'm pretty sure he has no idea what MH's first name is... or he thinks it's "Honey".

  • Yep he calls me and DH by our first names all the time, she thinks it is too funny, and usually does it in the same situation as your son, when we don't answer her.
  • LOL at Margaret!

Yes, she does sometimes.  Or she calls me hon.  haha!

  • He hasn't called me by my first name, but he has called for DH by his first name.  It's always so funny, and we are always taken back by it.

  • Jackson thinks my name is Honey, so he calls me that sometimes and tells people, "her not Beth, her HONEY."

  • She calls MH by his first name every so often. Usually it's when she really wants something or when MH goofs up on something. She will say it EXACTLY like I do when I'm exasperated with him. It's so freaking funny.

  • She loves to go through her family and list everyone's first names "My Mommy's Lori, my Dog is Brookie, etc."  and will occasionally call us by our first names and have that funny "I'm grinning and waiting for you to notice what I said" face on, then dissolve into giggles.
  • Yes, both of us - she usually just does it for a reaction or when we're not paying attention. She also just recently learned the grandparents' first names and is loving that.
