Creative way to tell family??

My husband and i just found out that we are expecting baby number 4.

I would like to wait until after our first appt to tell everyone. That is October 12. In the mean time I would like to come up with something creative to tell the family.

We have 3 children already- 5, 2, and 1. With the 5 yr old we just blurted it out, with the 2 year old we had the older sister wear a shirt that said she was the big sister and the baby we got custody of when she was 8 wks old.

I do not want to do the big sister/big brother shirt again.

 any ideas?

    why don't you get a personalized shirt from personalizationmall.com?  You can make one that says,  "I know something you don't know" on the front and says, "I'm gonna be a mommy of 4!!"  on the back!

    I did not even think of my DH or I wearing a shirt. You might be onto something!!!!

    Or maybe we could number the children with shirts and my shirt could have a 4 on the belly. hmmmmmmmmm

    Ohhh, I like that idea too!  The shirt thing may be a cute tradition you can keep!  

    Or you can make a small joke the next time you visit.  Say something along the lines of "hey, (Kid #1 name), no (kid #2 name), no wait... you... oh my, just wait until (due date) when #4 comes I'm gonna be all over the place!)

    The way we told DH's siblings (we had already told his parents) was by doing a whole group "thing"

    He printed out 2 ink blots & 1 of the ultrasounds.  He would hold up a picture & ask everyone around the table what they saw.  When he got to the u/s pic, everyone goes "I know what that is!!!"  lol!  His 1 sister actually said "I knew it!  I had this weird feeling on my way here that Crys was pregnant!!" 

    It was so fun & very memorable for all of them.
