Fashionistas - Talk to me about tunics & leggings
I'm scared of them. Seriously.
Leggings = spandex to me, and lord knows there are too many women running around in spandex that shouldn't be and I don't want to join that group.
Also? I'm 5'10"...won't a tunic just be a normal length longer shirt on me, thus ruining the whole benefit of hiding my ass said leggings?

I bet you could pull it off.
For me, it's REALLY hard to get excited about trends when you work in a high school. I do not want to look like my kids

I'm in that tall girl category.
And hopefully not in the 'shouldn't wear spandex' one

1. Though I am not a fashionista, you do not have to be one to know that this look is wrong if you are taller than 5'2"/weigh more than 102 lbs. Or, are in a play titled 'Peter Pan'.
2. Women over 5'10" look hot almost no matter what they wear so enjoy it.

I have two tunics that I bought from a trade show (supposidly they are from India) and I wear them with my 'leggings.'
By leggings, I am wearing the black silk long underwear that you wear under your ski clothes. They are nice and you can't tell the difference

I was reading in Glamour or some magazine like it that the tunics should be a little longer this year -- like more of a realllly short dress. They were saying that the long Tshirt length was last year's take on the stile...
And no one wants to be "soo... last year."

I live in leggings come late October.
I tend to pair them with those shirt dresses. I do not like tunics unless they are belted.
First I just got a coupon from NY&co for free leggings with any tunic purchase
Second, your hawt and you have the PERFECT figure for this get-up
Third, me at 5'1 on tip toes with a chunky butt, is not the person they designed these two pieces for.

I think you could rock it. They make longer length leggins. Just whatever you do...PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DON'T!!!! wear a pair of fuzzy uggs.
Nobody wants to see this ass in spandex. Nobody.
You, on the other hand? Could totally rock it.
Uggs, fuzzy or otherwise will NEVER grace these feet.

I really want to get into the leggins and tunics. I think they are cute on people that can pull them off.
Unfortunately, I don't think I can. I wouldn't know where to begin with the shoes, and all they tunics appear as if they would hit just below the cheeks.
That, and I'm 6', so I fall into that tall category.
