s/o bottle nipples for new baby

So when DD was about 6 months old and on Level 2 nipples I traded her bottles (Dr. Browns) in at BRU for the BPA Free bottles.  I still had DD's Level 1 nipples from the originals so I put them on the returns and kept her new Level 2's.  When I got the new bottles they had Level 1 nipples on them.  I saved them in a ziplock bag (they were never used).  Do you think they are still good or should I just pay the few dollars for new ones?

  • Unless its many years afterwards, I would think they would be fine to use.

ETA which judging by your siggie won't be an issue

  • If they were never used, I would say they are still good.  My daughter never used the Dr. Brown nipples, she had a small mouth so we found the Gerber Nuk nipples fit her mouth better.  I have all the level 1 nipples that came with the bottles in a drawer that we never used.
