DD will be one in two weeks. So here I am on this board...can't believe it!
She decided this weekend she was DONE with bottles. On her own. And I guess I should be grateful that she's done this and I don't have to try and take them away.
But man, I'm sad. She'll always be my baby but now I WANT ANOTHER BABY! I broached the subject with DH. He isn't ready. At all. He would be ok with just having one but says he knows I want to try for another and he wants DD to havea sibling, but he would be ok if I said just the one.
I have three frozen embryos, so it's not like I can even use the "my biological clock is ticking" deal with DH to get things moving. I just have to wait for him to be ready to try. And if I can't have another, if the frozens don't take, I will be fulfilled with my sweet girl. I just would like to have another. And DD turning into a toddler is at once making me so proud of her and also making me lust for a little baby.
Le sigh.
Re: She's turning one and the itch begins...
first of all your siggy pic is pure gold. i love it.
second that is tough. i know what you mean about the impending toddlerhood making you itch for another one. i'm in the same boat, but i know now isn't the best time for us. hopefully your dh will be ready in the near future and that your embryos will take!
I just wanted to pop in and say "hi" Janimal!
I love your new sig pic. Hilarious!
well in theory you would still have to carry the baby no? so your biological clock theory could still be used -- your body has to be up for it
I hear what you are saying -- I have the itch pretty bad
Yeah.... our baby's first birthday is what got me knocked up the second time.
I'd still use the clock reasoning-your pregnancy will surely be less risky the younger you are.
I don't think I ever realized that our DD's have the same birthday! I can't believe it is 2 weeks away!!
I know- I got baby fever bad. I can sympathize. H is pretty much on board but for our finances sake we're trying to wait.

Best.siggy.ever. Glad to see you here.
I'm sure everything will work out for the best for your family.
