I'll start by saying I'll be 36 when LO is born...
I had the CVS test done at 11w, because of my higher risk for downs (1/149 @ age 36) And b/c that test doesn't test for CF or neural tube defects I had a blood test for CF same day as CVS. Then at my 16w appt I had the AFP test (or quad screen) to test for neural tube defects. Everything turned out well :-) and I'm glad I skipped the NT scan and just went for the CVS.
We had the cystic fibrosis carrier testing done in very early pregnancy, then the NT scan at 12 weeks, and now we're waiting on multiple marker results.
Everyone is different, but if there is something wrong, I want to know before the baby is born so I can research the condition 100%, interview the right kinds of pediatricians before the birth, and have the right Dr's at the birth if necessary. I just like to have info and be prepared!
I had the NT scan done and the Intergrated Screening - where they draw blood at 13 weeks and again at 16 weeks - you get the combined final risk ratio result a week after the last blood draw.

Re: Screening Poll
We've had the NT scan last week and I was tested for cystic fibrosis back in December.

Everyone is different, but this is what I chose.
