Miscarriage/Pregnancy Loss

3w after m/c pg symptoms?

I had my natural m/c 3 weeks ago and 2 weeks after DH and I decided to "try" to have sex (TMI warning: He pulled out before he ejaculated).  Well I normally have long cycles but I think I may have ovulated the very day we "tried".  Anyways, I have been feeling strange.  I am hungry all the time, peeing a lot and having strange cramps.

I'm not asking you all if you think I am pregnant but I am wondering if you had pg symptoms before your first AF?  I lost all of my symptoms 2 weeks before I found out I had my m/c so I know it is just not those continuing,

Re: 3w after m/c pg symptoms?

  • I did, even after my D&C.  I had lost some of my symptoms, but others stuck around until my hormone levels dropped.

  • I was reading this website last night and wanted to pass it along.

Check out the section under most common recovery. It mentions having mild pregnancy symptoms after the m/c. I hope this helps and am very sorry for your loss.

  • My hormone levels took between 4 and 5 weeks to come back down to zero, so yes, had lots of pg sx 3w after m/c.

  • My hormone levels were still back to 0 (for hcg anyway), but I had high progesterone after my loss.  When I went into my luteal phase during my cycle after the first m/c, I felt SOOOOO pregnant.  I was barfing and nauseous and short of breath and everything.  Also, my luteal phase was longer than usual by 2-3 days.  It really messed with my head.
  • A few weeks after my m/c, I was hungry all of the time and felt so nauseous. Also, I had to urinate so often. It kind of felt like it was false hope.
  • until your levels go down completely, i've been told you can still feel symptoms.  but you should def call your dr-- mine has been taking blood every few weeks to make sure my hcg levels are going down-- that way, when we try again, they'll know that if i take a pg test, it's valid and not just left over from the m/c... anyway, just a thought.  good luck, and sorry for your loss
