Ever wonder what the actual profit margin is on Gonal F?

I just ordered my gonal F. It came to a whopping $1195 for basically 2 pens and 2 refills. I just wonder what the profit margin is. I mean, what are the manufacturing costs, the costs to cover previous research and getting it FDA approved and everything? I just feel like there is some drug company raking it in with all of us. :(

    My BIL works for Schering-Plough, and says that the actual profit margin in Canada(where I live) from simply the drug sales, is small.  They make their money off of the dispensing fee that they charge the pharmacies.  I'm sure that it is similar in the US as well.
