1) Do you have any coupon websites you could direct me to? I need to start coupon clipping.
2) Do you have any good toddler fake-out recipes? or food blogs. I tried pumpkin bread and he went crazy for it. I would love more ideas.
Thank you, thank you, thank you!
Re: Two food related questions, please help.
I use coupons.com and redplum.com for coupons. I also get great coupon/deal links from moneysavingmom.com
My ds will eat anything and everything, so I don't have any fake-out advice - good luck!
By toddler fake outs, do you mean good ways to get them to eat veggies?
One surefire way I have to get DS to eat veggies is by making him a "smoothie". On my own diet, I often make a green protein smoothie for myself for breakfast. DS would see it, and start whining for some w/out even knowing what it is! BTW, mine is skim milk, protein powder, ice cubes, 1 tsp peanut butter, some frozen banana, and a huge handful of baby spinach, which you honestly can't taste at all!
So I decided to capitalize on this idea. Occasionally for half of his morning milk, i'll make him a smoothie. I use about 4oz of whole milk, frozen banana, sometimes berries if I have them, an ice cube, some peanut butter, and again a handful of baby spinach. I have a magic bullet blender which blends the smoothies really, really well and turns them a pretty light green : )
I give DS his in a straw cup and he LOVES it! His eyes get wide when I turn the blender on, and he always drinks the entire thing. He's getting healthy nutrients, and probably almost 2 servings of veggies-try it!
