this is the day after...DH didnt format the disc (like i TOLD him) from our new camera so all the pics when i first saw DD after surgery are on the video camera, but not anywhere else)
You know, my discusting DH stuck the camera over the curtain and took a bunck of pics and no one notice..not even me until weeks later when I was uploading them all and trying to figure out what the hell I was looking at. Ugh. There is a reason they tell you not to do that.
Horrible picture of me, but this is the first time I got to hold Logan. He was just over 1 day old, and being transferred to a hospital downtown to the NICU. Such a sad moment, but I was so relieved that the AWESOME NICU doctor from the other hospital made them take him out of the transport thing to let me hold him!
This was actually my second moment with him. We didn't bring a camera into the operating room. I got wheeled in to see him after I left the recovery area, and that's when DH snapped this picture.
This makes me cry and I'm so jealous. We lost all the pictures from the first two days of her life. Even if we had them, I only had one picture of me and her taken and it was a horrible picture from like the next day.
There's one that's all blurry of me crying and them throwing him on me, but this one is right after.. he looks so tiny!
... and I love this one of DH holding him for the first time:
wife to joe 2.2.08. mama to noah 9.5.09.
After multiple m/c's, a MTHFR diagnosis and the Lord calling both of our hearts in the same direction, we're adopting! theluckiest
I couldn't hold him right away because he had the cord wrapped around him 3 times and wasn't breathing right away. This was about an hour or two later...the first time I got to hold him:
Excuse the hair and my fat face. This was after 27 hours of rough back labor with no pain meds.
I have a pic of when he immediately came out and put on my chest before the cord was even cut, but that might be a little too graphic (although no lady bits are seen)...so here's one of me and him after they wrapped him up.
Warning
No formatter is installed for the format bbhtml
My DH failed big time on the early picture taking. He's not into pictures at all. I have some but most I can't or won't post because I look like absolute hell or they are bloody. My mom has some pics but they are from a film camera and my scanner isn't hooked up.

In most of mine it is evident that I am bawling.

This was like RIGHT away!

time flies...
I look a bit out off it after the c-section, but I have never been so happy. It was the best momment of my life.

This is the first appropriate one. DH took a bunch right as he came out but most have my vag in it, lol. Good job DH!

I love the pictures of everybody though.

Taken about 30 minutes after:
I miss my tiny man already!!
Our first family pic (even though the dog is missing...)
Slightly exposed but my favorite series of pics..he's about 36 hours old...
I hope this works...I am a klutz at PIP.
I hope this works. I've only tired to PIP one other time and it was a fail.
Me neither. I was too busy fighting with my mom. For real. Thanks ma.
Best day of my life.
This was about 5 minutes after they pulled him out. I was completely shocked at how big he was!
