Luvs diapers?

I just got an email from diapers.com for discounted Luvs newborn diapers...a jumbo pack for only $5.49.  I know I have seen a lot of people recommend Pampers Swaddlers, just curious if anyone has ever used the Luvs newborn diapers and if they would or wouldn't recommend them, thanks!! :)

    we were gifted a package of LUVS, and only used like 3 of them, they were just very cheap and leaky for us...same w/Huggies. Pampers Swaddlers really were the best for us. It's soo different for everyone though

    I used Pampers Swaddlers for the first month then huggies (OMG they are HORRIBLE) but I have been using Luvs since then.  I think they work great, only time they leak is if they REALLY need to be changed, or overnight.  They are soft like Pampers as well.  Huggies feel like plastic to me, and give DS a rash.

    My cousin loves them and shes a name brand kinda girl. Different diapers work on different babies. For 5.49 it wouldnt hurt to try them out.

    Ever since they changed from sticker tabs to velcro tabs, I really like them. Granted I usually just buy Target brand, but I havent had a bad experience with them! GL :)

    Definitely buy them and try them.  Pampers, Luvs and Huggies have all worked great for us.  Sadly, the only thing we've had trouble with were CDs which was our plan in the beginning...so typical!

    We didn't use Luvs for NB size, but have been using them since DD grew into size 1s and we love them. She STTN anywhere from 9-11 hours and those things can hold a lot of pee, we've never had a leak or a blow-out. They aren't as soft as the Pampers, but they work just as well (if not better) IMO.
