What do you think of Milo?

After a long discussion with my husband, the only name we both liked is Milo. What are your thoughts on this name? We are thinking the middle name will be Benjamin (family name). Does Milo Benjamin (last name starts with S) sound okay?

I don't love it, don't hate it. I think of it as an easygoing, laid back name.

I love Milo! It was my number one name choice. However, DH doesn't like it. He said all he thinks of is the movie "Milo and Otis" when he hears it.

I think it sounds good with Benjamin too.

I just read the other posts. Looks like my DH isn't the only one who thinks of that movie!

(I've only seen the movie once and I didn't like it so it never crossed my mind until he said it.)

I like Milo! I think I like Miles best. And I don't think this is a big deal but the first thing that popped into my mind from the initials MS was multiple sclerosis. I think it's just because I am a nerd though Wink

Not a fan at all- why not use Benjamin?

Milo just sounds kind of wimpy, not very masculine.

I really like Milo, but mainly as a nickname/term of endearment for Miles. DH says it's a dog's name, but I don't necessarily think of it that way. Milo Benjamin sounds good, but like someone else suggested, what about Miles?

I love it!! It would be my top pick if DH liked it, but he also can't get passed Milo and Otis. I wouldn't worry about the whole Milo and Otis thing though, their generation is not going to have any clue who they are!
