to be giving grant but never do.
So tonight i said, this is it, we must do it! so he took down the whole freaking thing, and i decided i would put some on my finger and tasted it.
well, let me tell you something... i had maybe pea-sized amount and I actually almost gagged and then felt like i was going to puke. It was overpowering how badly it tasted. i am no wuss about stuff, but this was out of control. I then had the WORST aftertaste you could ever imagine in my mouth that NOTHING would remove. I have no clue how he took the entire thing. It's going to be hard to give it to him knowing how horrific it is. =(
Re: listen, i tasted the poly- vitamins we are supposed
I'm sorry. I don't taste anything I give my child, horrible I know. With Colbi I would dry heave while feeding her baby food so I'm really not looking forward to starting solids with Bri lol.
Does he not have a problem taking it?
We tried giving DD those once, and she immediately threw it up on DH's shirt.
DH then tasted the vitamins himself, and declared that we would be committing child abuse if we forced DD to take it.

Yup. They are NASTY!
DS hated them when we tried to give them to him a few months ago. I kinda make a point to try anything that I make him eat, so I sampled them myself. After that, I never made him take them again! LOL He's BF, so the vitamins were primarily for the Vit D. We just make sure he gets a few min of sun a few times a week, and the pedi seems OK with that. And I'm pretty religious about making sure he gets some iron fortified cereal every day. I really doubt that he needs the nasty liquid vitamins.
the tri vi sol smells a lot better. Once we got the poly vi sol by mistake and UGH!
I have been trying to get him a lot of sun this summer..
This stains. Beware.
The brand I get isn't horrible, it's just super sweet. Maybe try another brand?
Also, DD still has cereal most mornings, and I always just mix it in with that.
we put it in my kid's orange juice. no problems here.
I agree, the smell alone is vile.
*my OLDER kid. Like I would give my baby ORANGE JUICE! ha!
