Can anyone suggest a laundry detergent that actually cleans food stains? I love the gentleness and scent of Dreft, but it really is not effective for the oil from foods. I've tried All Free/Pure, but it seemed less effective than the Dreft. I'm even willing to try a pre-treat of additive in addition to the Dreft. Help Please

I've only ever used Free and Clear and haven't had any problems. You could try Oxy Clean in Free and clear or Baby Oxy Clean and add that to your wash.

I spray the spots with the Oxyclean spray stuff before I wash it--it works pretty well and doesn't seem to bother her skin.

I use Purex Free & Clear for all of our clothes. If there is a tough stain, I just spary it with some Spray & Wash. Works every time.

If you can find it All Baby (or is it Baby All) is great. We switched to Dreft because we couldn't find All, and now some of DD's really nice clothes are permanently stained. Sad
