It was odd. With my daughter I "knew" it was a girl before the US. I had dreams about her being a girl, I just knew.
I had some morning sickness but nothing too bad--at least not that I remember although DH insists that I once threw up out the car window on a road trip. Don't remember that at all!
This time around I was sick as a dog. Non-stop the first trimester and I still get randomly and suddenly pukey for no reason!
I also had no Mother's Intuition as to what I was having. I tried to concentrate and connect with that little critter--no dreams, nothing. Even after the first early US when I actually saw a baby in there, I had no idea what I was having.
...and it's a boy! So trust your intuition...IF you have one!
I knew I was having a boy too! Although I am still sick at 20 weeks. Till about week 16 I threw up every day all day but in my family the woman seem to get really sick with their sons and not their daughters.
