heart rate ?

I have had several appts where the heart beat has been seen or heard. The doctor hasnt given me a heart rate. Is this normal or does your dr give you a rate?

my dr always told me what the heart rate was... on the doppler and in u/s

My babies last heart rate was 140

they told me with each u/s and with the first doppler but they haven't since.

Our nurse takes ours before the Dr comes in and usually I always ask as soon as she removes the doppler..lol

Ours usally ranges around 156- 152

My new OB (with my third baby) never does but it feels like I am going through a drive through at her office, lol. I wish I could go back to my old O.B. from second pregnancy but she has moved across the country, she always told me the heart rate and that it was good. It was just nice and reassuring to know.
