OMG DD just feel asleep and a toy went off and won't stop

I don't know what to do becuase if I go in there then it is all over but it has gone off 3 times already (sort, sort, sort my shapes...and this big long song and then has to go on to say bye). She cried the 1st time but hasn't again, just don't want it going off in the middle of the night.

Why would it randomly go off?

  • Our toys do that when the batteries need to be changed. Especially the L&L puppy.
  • Possessed toys. We have them too, but thankfully the ones that tend to do that are all in the living room. Do you think she's asleep now? Maybe you could just run in there fast and grab it.

  • DS' turtle was doing that during his nap today but he slept through it. It's a turtle and it was saying "four, heart, four, heart, four, heart ..." OVER and OVER. Once he fell asleep I went in to take the toy out.
  • DS's FP Laugh n Learn table has a phone that will randomly ring. Reminds me of Poltergeist. There have been several times where I've been thisclose to throwing it out on the patio.

  • Like the pp said, toys will go off randomly if they need the batteries changed. Some toys even say something about it in the manual or on the battery cover.

I hope you can get it out without it disturbing her anymore!
