IVF # 1 is a bust-BFN

I am heartbroken. Got the message when DH & I got home from work. I could tell from the sound of the nurse's voice it wasnt good news.

I guess our silver lining is we have 9 frozen embies. But still can;t stop crying. Although this makes me realize how lucky I am to be married to my husband . he is so amazing

    TTC since 8/07 DX - Severe MFI/azoospermia & MTHFR/ TESEs found sperm - 7/08 & 6/09/ 12/08 - IVF#1 - BFN/ 6/09 - IVF #2 - cancelled due to OHSS risk (had retrieval)/ 7/09 - FET #1 - BFN/ 9/09 - FET #2 - BFN/ 11/09 - IVF #3 with new RE cancelled twice - 10/09 & 11/09/ 1/10 - IVF #3 take 3 - BFN/ 4/10 - IVF #4 - first ever BFP on 5/13/10!!! 108 @ 10dp3dt/ 2nd beta 311!/ sono on 5/28/10 said TWINS!!!!     Hang in there...keep moving forward and get a plan going for those embies...you'll start to feel hopeful again.

    I am so sorry! I know exactly how you feel, it is awful to go through..having the strength of my husband also helped me get through it. And it is great you have 9 embies frozen..don't give up hope..Take care of yourself.

    I'm so sorry.  I know exactly how you feel.  It's hard to get over, but give it some time and things will get better.  At least you have those frozens to look forward to, I hope they work for you.  Take care of yourself!

    IVF #2 MDL protocol Jan/Feb converted to IUI, BFN
    IVF #2 take 2: Antagonist, one embie, BFN
    IVF #3: Antagonist, no fertilization
    One last ditch effort at OE IVF (antagonist with Clomid) cancelled
    DE cycle #1 Jan/Feb 2011, BFP, ectopic
    DE cycle #2 June/July 2011 - BFP
    10/28/11 Baby girl lost at 17 weeks due to pre-term labor. We love and miss you.
    DE cycle #3 June/July 2012 - BFP, twins, both heartbeats stopped, D&C
    2 frosties but don't know what's next
    FET Dec 2012: BFP! Praying this one sticks for the long haul!

    I know exactly how you feel, unfortunately! I got the news of my BFN last friday..and after pouring my heart & soul into it 110%, i thought it was a sure thing.  I'm so sorry and like you said..the positive thing is you have 9 frozen embies.. maybe you can just start right away. Best of luck!!
